Yves A Martin Consulting, LLC created an e-commerce website for A Little Bit of Philly, where a customers can order a full array of Philadelphia snack gifts.
The design team at Yves A Martin Consulting, LLC created the ecommerce site with the DotNetNuke Content Management System (CMS) for ease of updating and maintaining the website. The DotNetNuke platform is one of the most widely adopted Content Management Systems and application development frameworks used for building websites and web applications on the Microsoft .NET platform. The ecommerce component works with the Quickbooks credit card processing system to process credit cards online and interface seemlessly with the companies QuickBooks accounting software.
Shipping for the site involves complicated business rules because of the perishable nature of the items being shipped. Each item has a shipping threshold that indicates the maximum number of days the item can spend in transit without going bad. Yves A Martin Consulting LLC created an interface to the UPS World Ship system that automatically determines when a customer can use ground shipping and automatically offers the least expensive shipping option to the customer.
Visitors to A Little Bit of Philly website can select from a variety of items, ship those items to different recipients, set up shipping groups to easily manage corporate gift giving, pay for the order online and have the order shipped via UPS. The website can be accessed at:
