When DePuy Orthopaedics, a division of Johnson & Johnson, issued a they had manufactured the law firm of Silverman and Fodera needed to get their name in front of people looking for legal help.  The Yves A Martin Consulting, LLC web design and Internet marketing teams came up with strategy that is now netting an estimated return on investment of over 500%!

Step 1 – A Web Site Designed to Inform and Convert

Copy the Informs and Promotes a Sense of Urgency

Working with the lawyers at Silverman and Fodera copywriters at Yves A Martin Consulting, LLC took the copy provided by the law firm and adjusted it so that it would generate a sense of urgency and properly communicate the need for legal services.  The entire web site was then formulated to quickly inform the visitor of the need for legal services and guide the user to contact the law firm.

With good copy in place it is up to the web site designers to come up with a visual presentation that will let the visitor know that they are dealing with a prestigious law firm that will represent them successfully.  This was done by choosing colors, fonts and a layout that users will already recognize as being official and respected – the exact same scheme used by the White House.

To provide proof of the law firm’s competence accolades are also incorporated into the design.  This has been researched to increase conversions significantly.


Finally attention grabbing call-to-action graphics are placed in a repeating pattern down the page.  The practice of repeating the call-to-action is another proven technique for increasing response and getting conversions.


Step 2 – A Strategy to Drive the Right Traffic to the Site


To generate traffic fast pay-per-click advertising on the Internet is the way to go.  Unfortunately if not done correctly a lot of money can get wasted with few conversions and a very low return on investment.  Most companies are familiar with Google AdWords – a very expensive and cluttered medium for getting traffic – and only use that to sometimes disastrous results.

Step 3 – Monitoring and Analysis

Any marketing effort involves a certain amount of guess work when first getting started.  Proper monitoring and analysis of what is bringing traffic that converts helps close the gap between what works and what doesn’t work.
