The design of the website also included making it more search engine friendly.

When designing the new site, the web design team at Yves A Martin Consulting used ethical Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to create a more search engine friendly website for A Little Bit of Philly. The purpose of using SEO was to use keywords to get the website placed high on the search engines where people would find the site more readily than if it was listed on other pages of the search engine results.

This increased the percentage of people finding the website by using search engines to over 62%.

The purpose of having the ecommerce website is to make it easy for visitors to place orders. This was accomplished by integrating the Quickbooks credit card processing system to process credit cards online and have the website automatically calculate the UPS shipping charges.
